Yoga shorts are designed to be more stylish than gym shorts. They tend to be marketed toward women and girls. They come in many colors and sizes.

Yoga shorts are often made of microfiber or Lycra and feature a stretch fit. They also allow perspiration to easily escape from the body to the air. This is helpful in Bikram yoga classes when the temperature is very high.

Yoga shorts are so comfortable that you may find yourself wearing them outside of class. They are suitable for gym wear or for dance class. They can even be worn to bed.
